Wonderful beach bar and restaurant

ROCK & CURRY NIGHT

The beach bar at Clairac will be closing its doors for the end of the season at midnight on Friday 30th September 2011.

The manager of the bar has therefore decided to hold an End of Season Rock ‘n’ Curry concert on that night with live music from DejaVu.

Food will be provided by Jon Davis of ‘Get Curry’D Away‘, adult meals 8.50 €, children’s meals 4 €.  Mild, spicy and vegetarian curries available.

Chicken and vegetable curries served with rice, onion bahji, naan bread and mango chutney or lime pickle from “Get Curry’D Away” - €8.50

Food served from 7.30pm, music starts at 8.30pm.

Large under cover terrace and dance/dining hall, great views of the River Lot.

Entrance fee 5 €, (children under 16 free).

Hoping to see you there, all welcome – reservations not necessary.

I can highly recommend this bar and restaurant.  Just 6km from where I live, so I have visited on several occasions since the new Dutch owners took over in July.  Friendly welcoming staff and located in a perfect spot on Clairac plage.  Small lunch and dinner menu, with bar snacks – very happy to announce they serve Bitterballen, a Dutch snack (deep fried meatballs) which I had on many occasion when I lived in Holland.  Looking forward to visiting next year and I am hoping they may open slightly earlier than July 2012 – will keep you posted.  Sandra.  PS: I will be attending the Rock ‘n’ Curry night on Friday
