Phoenix Animal Rescue are an officially registered charity.  Phoenix is a non-profit making organisation, run on a voluntary basis.  They have no paid staff and rely entirely on the goodwill of their helpers/supporters.

When I moved to SW France in August 2007, my aim was to adopt a dog once we had settled in.  I contacted Sheelagh Johnson, Phoenix Association and in September 2008, I was blessed to adopt Cesc.  He is my world and I love him to bits.  Phoenix Association do a fantastic job, so if you can, please support them on their next book sale on 7th May 2011.  Details are below.  If you are looking to adopt a dog or cat, then please visit their website: http://www.phoenixasso.com

After a bad start to his life, I adopted Cesc when he was 11 months old in September 2008 from Phoenix Association, Dordogne, SW France
